Free Admission Eligibility
The following groups receive free admission:
- Active US Military (plus up to 5 guests)
- Boston Family Days Participants (plus up to 2 guests)
- Boston Public School Students
- EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare Cardholders (plus up to 5 guests)
- Massachusetts Teachers (plus 1 guest)
- MBTA Employees (plus 1 guest)
- NARM Members (plus 1 guest)
- US Veterans (Blue Star Museums)
To receive free admission, please inform staff of your eligibility upon arrival at either the Old State House or Old South Meeting House. Valid IDs, certifications, or Proofs of Service/Employment must be presented to receive free admission.
Discount Passes
Boston 250 Pass
Celebrate 250 years since 1776 with special discounted entry to five must-see historic landmarks with the Boston 250 Pass. Enjoy a 10% discount off admission to the following sites:
- Paul Revere House
- Old State House
- Old North Church
- Old South Meeting House
- King's Chapel
Go City Sightseeing Pass
Explore Boston’s top attractions while saving up to 50% with a Go City Sightseeing Pass. Revolutionary Spaces partners with Go City to offer:
- Discounted admission to more than 40 top attractions—including the Old State House and the Old South Meeting House
- Museum store discounts
Simply present your Go City Pass at the admissions desk upon arrival to receive entry.
Programs & Special Offers
Highland Street Foundation
We are pleased to announce that Revolutionary Spaces has partnered with the Highland Street Foundation’s Spring Week Program to offer free admission to all visitors on April 20, 2026. No advance ticket purchase is required.
Sensory-Friendly Mornings
Revolutionary Spaces offers Sensory-Friendly Mornings at the Old State House, featuring a quieter, more supportive museum experience with adjusted lighting and sound, limited attendance, and hands-on activities. Visitors with sensory sensitivities and their families/caregivers receive:
- FREE admission for ages 18 and under
- $5 admission for adults
Advance registration is recommended, as space is limited to 20 guests total. Learn more and reserve your spot now!
Hands-On History Days
Revolutionary Spaces offers Hands-On History Days at the Old State House and Old South Meeting House, featuring interactive activities like crafts, games, colonial dress-up, and scavenger hunts designed for visitors of all ages. Activities are included with general admission, and families receive:
- FREE admission for ages 12 and under (through June 2026)
- FREE admission for ages 17 and under (starting July 1)

Group Discounts
Revolutionary Spaces offers a variety of guided and self-guided group experiences for 10 or more people. Groups receive discounted rates off regular museum admission. Click here to learn more or submit a Group Visit Request Form.
EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare Cardholders
Card to Culture (Massachusetts Residents)
Revolutionary Spaces participates in the Card to Culture program, a collaboration led by the Mass Cultural Council, offering free admission for:
- Massachusetts EBT cardholders (plus up to 5 guests)
- Massachusetts WIC cardholders (plus up to 5 guests)
- Massachusetts ConnectorCare cardholders (plus up to 5 guests)
A valid card must be presented upon arrival to receive free admission.
Museums for All (Out-of-State Residents)
Revolutionary Spaces participates in Museums for All, a national access program led by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Association of Children’s Museums, offering free admission to:
- Out-of-state SNAP EBT cardholders (plus up to 5 guests)
A valid card and government issued-ID must be presented upon arrival to receive free admission.
North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Association
Revolutionary Spaces is a part of the North American Reciprocal Museum Association. Members of an institution in the NARM network at the NARM level of membership can enjoy:
- FREE admission (plus one guest)
- 10% discount on select museum store merchandise. A valid membership card with NARM participation is required at the time of admission
Revolutionary Spaces members at the Chandelier-level and above now receive NARM membership. Benefits include unlimited access to more than 1,000 arts and cultural institutions throughout North America, discounts on museum store purchases, and access to the NARM map which shows participating museums and institutions.
