Hours of Operation

Revolutionary Spaces is conveniently open seven days per week from 10 AM to 5 PM unless otherwise noted.

Both sites are closed for the following holidays:

  • New Years Day (January 1)
  • Thanksgiving (November 27)
  • Christmas Eve (December 24)
  • Christmas Day (December 25)

Monthly Spotlight Series: William Dawes
This April, Revolutionary Spaces will spotlight the patriot who rode from Boston out to Lexington on the night of April 18, 1775, to warn John Hancock and Samuel Adams that British troops were on the move to arrest them—William Dawes! Come learn about Dawes' perilous ride from Boston to Lexington, read first-hand accounts describing his efforts, and do your best Dawes imitation on our period-accurate hobby horse. Also, join us to celebrate Dawes' 280th birthday on April 6th.

April Break Free Admission
From Monday, April 21 through Sunday, April 27, all children ages 12 and under will receive free admission to the Old State House and Old South Meeting House.
