BOSTON, MA (May 14, 2025) – Hub Town Tours and Revolutionary Spaces are proud to announce a new partnership and public offering: The Freedom Trail Insiders Tour, an immersive 2-hour walking tour through Downtown Boston that delves into the critical years leading up to the American Revolution, 1768 to 1775. Perfect for history buffs, students, and curious travelers alike, participants will journey through time with expert guides to uncover the city’s historic heart, discover iconic landmarks, hidden stories, and walk in the footsteps of revolutionary Bostonians. Tours open to the public this weekend on Saturday, May 17th and Sunday, May 18th, and will run every Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 AM through mid-October.

This collaboration marks a significant moment in Boston’s public history landscape, combining the dynamic storytelling of Hub Town Tours with Revolutionary Spaces’ unparalleled access to two of the city’s most iconic historic sites—Old South Meeting House and the Old State House.

The walking tour spans 11 of 16 key Freedom Trail landmarks across Downtown Boston, starting at Faneuil Hall / Quincy Market and concluding at Boston Common. Guests will journey through the charged political atmosphere of the late 1760s and early 1770s, uncovering the people, passion and protests that culminated in America’s fight for independence.

“Revolutionary Spaces is at the leading edge of Boston’s public history, which is a field not often known for moving fast or taking risks,” said Ted Clark, Executive Director of Hub Town Tours.Bringing the iconic landmarks of Old State House and Old South Meeting House under singular leadership has been a boon to the museums themselves and our city at large, and Hub Town Tours is elated to be working with such a proactive and professional partner.”

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of Boston launching the American Revolution in 1775—and approach the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence next year—the history and memory that this tour stewards is more important than ever to an American citizenry seeking answers in a chaotic world. Understanding how the concept of ‘We the People’ was created is an important way to ensure that ‘We the People’ is perpetuated.

Tickets are priced at $39.00 per guest, with children ages 0-5 admitted free. Admission includes guided entry into both the Old State House and Old South Meeting House. Additionally, tour tickets double as return passes for museum admission at both sites.
