BOSTON, MA (March 2, 2026) — Today Revolutionary Spaces announced their participation in Museums for All, joining Boston Children’s Museum, Historic New England – Otis House, The USS Constitution Museum, Museum of Science, and others, marking Boston as a Museums for All Hub. Museums for All is a signature access program of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) to encourage individuals of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum habits. For an area to reach Hub status, three or more local organizations must be active participants in the initiative.

A wide range of institutions participate in Museums for All, including art museums, children’s museums, science centers, botanical gardens, zoos, history museums, and more. As part of this initiative, museums offer individual admission fees ranging from free to $3 to individuals and families presenting a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card during all normal operating hours. Participating museums are in all fifty states as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

“Revolutionary Spaces was founded on the belief that our history is a precious resource that belongs to all of us,” said Nat Sheidley, President and CEO of Revolutionary Spaces. “Cost should never stand in the way of someone seeing themselves in our nation’s story. By joining Museums for All, we are working to ensure that every family, regardless of income, feels truly welcome at the Old State House and Old South Meeting House. These are not just historic landmarks; they are gathering places for our neighbors, for young people, and for first-time visitors to explore the American Revolution and take part in the ongoing conversation about democracy, freedom, and civic life.”

Revolutionary Spaces will now offer free admission for up to six people when you present an EBT card or WIC card and state ID verification. As a participant of the Card to Culture program, Revolutionary Spaces does not require guests to provide state ID verification for Massachusetts residents only. For more information, visit our admission page here.

“ACM is proud to partner with IMLS on this initiative, which has facilitated more than ten million visits to date. More than 1,350 museums of all types show their commitment to access and equity by participating,” said ACM Executive Director Arthur G. Affleck, III. “We’re so inspired by museums like those in Boston that maximize their impact by joining Museums for All as part of a unified community effort.”

Museums for All helps expand access to museums and raise public awareness about how museums in the U.S. are reaching their entire communities. For additional information about Museums for All, please visit www.Museums4All.org.
