Mitch is the author of First Martyr of Liberty: Crispus Attucks in American Memory, perhaps the most definitive work on Attucks to date, and one of the main scholarly advisors for Reflecting Attucks.
Introducing Reflecting Attucks reviews what we know about Attucks’s actions the night of the Boston Massacre, and reflect on how Americans have found inspiration in Attucks over the last 250 years.
